Rainbow Brite – Grown up and BAD ASS!!
Jun 24th
This is a new re-imaging of Rainbow Brite by the incredible Tess Fowler! This was completed today! I am glad to say she is a new friend of ours here at ravage.com and we hope to be showing more of her work as she creates it! In the mean time jump over to her site (http://www.tessfowler.com/) and take a look at more of her work! So you know she is offering prints of this work for only $20! Believe me this is going to be a collectors item at some point so make sure you get one before they are gone. Click on the more to see the progression of the pictures from start to finish!
I dig the fact that they’re all dirty. Reminds me of my own Rainbow Brite collection that got dragged through hell and back, and still had that bizarre sickeningly sweet plastic smell. – Tess Fowler.

OK well she never went away, but she is bringing movie macabre back! Yeah I am sure most of you have NO idea what I am talking about, but she had one of the funniest horror movie shows on TV. You will just have to watch the new shows (or rent an old one) to see what I am talking about. Once her show hits the air, I will be talking ALOT more about her. You have no idea how bad I would like to meet her. Am I rambling on? Sorry but you have no idea how much I like her. OH check out her official video!

Here is a few I could find from the E3 show this week. The Microsoft Kinect has a game as well I just didnt find footage that showed the game and how you don’t need a controller to play it! Share on FacebookE3 2010 Impressions – Sony’s Move Controller – The Fight
Jun 18th
I started off the 3rd day of E3 checking out Sony’s new Motion Controller, entitled “Move”. It was basically a remote with a lightbulb on the end, and everyone was proudly touting buttons on the front AND the back, blowing everyone’s mind at Sony and surprising no one who has ever played a Wii. So, does it do what the Wii does? It does. Does it do more? It can.
One of the games I tried was Kung-Fu Rider, which bordered on absolutely terrible to why would you play this? A seperate review of that will be showing up, because I did want to leave POSITIVE impressions regarding the Move, and The Fight was the one to do it. It begins simply enough, you hold two wands and box the other guy in the face. Of course, everyone at the show had already tried that. I needed to throw some NEW moves into it. I only got the last half of the fight on film, but rest assured that my smile and the people laughing behind me indicates that all the ridiculous motions I used to fight someone in Cell Block Whatever DID work. Basically, all you have to do in the game is calibrate the two controllers and start swinging.
I would totally play this again, because the moves translated so well that the sheer ridiculous entertainment value alone is something I can get behind. If Sony can get a more involved idea of this that goes beyond boxing people, I’m sold.

So the original game of Starcraft is more than 10 years old. It is considered by many to be the BEST RTS games ever made. (I agree with that statement) It has also been one of the top sellers for all those years! In South Korea the game is still so popular that they have stadiums filled with people watching the championships! It has prime time TV shows dedicated to it! Well in July our sequel is FINALLY here!!! Check out the commericial!
I think we should make a RAVAGE.COM team and kick some ass! Who is with me?

As most of my friends know I am a Fan of True Blood (yes the HBO show, not the real thing) A friend on Facebook posted this so I thought it would be fun to post it on here.
If you aren’t a fan of True Blood.. What the hell is your problem?? It is funny, sexy, and very well written! For those people out there that are uninformed, True Blood is the story of a young bar maid named sookie stackhouse. (Anna Paquin – Rouge from the Xmen movies) She has many sexy adventures with Vampires, Werewolves, shapechangers, witches, and well just psychos! Check it out! (on a side note… Sookie is cool.. but DAMN Jessica is hot!, Yeah I know she is supposed to be young.. but in real life she isn’t!)
In the mean time.. here is a Cool video down by Snoop Dogg, I think he has a thing for sookie!
Let me know what you think!

Share on FacebookImpressions – Nintendo 3DS
Jun 16th
Wow. That’s about all there is to say with the short time I’ve spent with Nintendo’s new little handheld, the latest in the line of Dual Screened portable systems. To say that it’s an upgrade is an understatement, as the system has noticeable changes on almost all fronts. First, and foremost, is the top screen. It’s bigger, it’s better, and with a higher resolution comes a much more crisp picture. It also helps that the systems power has been ramped up an incredible amount going from N64 quality graphics to those ranging inbetween the power of the Wii and an Xbox 360. No, really.
The system can throw out a tremendous amount of texturing effects now, doubling it’s beauty with a much higher polygon count, and with the advent of these better graphics comes the opportunity to show them in a way not yet explored — 3D. And the best part of it all is that it actually works.
