HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUPER MARIO!!!
Sep 14th
YUP September 13th, 2010 Super Mario turned 25 years old!!! (not to be confused with old mario) OH the countless hours I have spend running, jumping, ducking, spinning, flying! I hope we can spend another 25 years hanging out.. Maybe some day we can save the princess for good. (Damn woman is ALWAYS getting in trouble!)
For over two decades, Super Mario Bros. was the best-selling video game of all time, before being outsold by Wii Sports in 2009. Excluding Game Boy Advance and Virtual Console sales, the game has sold 40.241 million copies worldwide. It was largely responsible for the initial success of the Nintendo Entertainment System, as well as ending the two-year slump of console game sales in the United States after the video game crash of 1983. As one of Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka’s most influential early successes, it has inspired many clones, sequels, and spin-offs. Its theme music by Koji Kondo is recognized worldwide, even by those who have not played the game, and has been considered a representation for video game music in general.
Watch the video for a nice stroll back memory lane!
Must have for christmas!!!

What happens when you mate a scooter with a tank? I am sure you are waitting for a punchline, but nope no joke! I want this!!
The DTV (Dual Tracked Vehicle) Shredder was designed by Ben Gulak of BPG Werks. The DTV is somewhat modular. It seems that the steering bar can be replaced with a handheld accelerator module. Additionally, it can be configured for remote control operation. Designed to take up to a 40 degree slope and with a top speed of [over] 30 mph it’s definitely an interesting concept.

Thanks to Geekologie for the heads up on this one.

As we approach the anniversary of a very sad time in American history. I wanted to take a moment from the jokes and the pin ups to say a very heartfelt thank you to those people that serve Americans every day to make our lives so much better. From Firefighters to Policemen, from teachers to soldiers… thank you. I would like to thank 2 of my brothers and MANY of my friends who have unselfishly served in the military to protect this country. Regardless of your political views there is one thing we all share, we are in this together.
Here is a great video that aired only 1 time after 9/11, it wasnt done for money, but it was done for respect of those that died in the attacks.
