This is the most over due article I have been meaning to do!  So first off.. Sorry this one too me so long Mark!  Secondly I had this great idea of how I wanted to display Mark’s Artwork, but for some reason it wouldn’t work correctly on here.  (some day when I get time I will fix it!)

Mark is truely an amazing artist, as you can see.  He works with some of the most beautiful pinups around.  Not only does he draw these amazing women, but he draws the most baddass cars!!  Cars and Girls.. the perfect combo!  (add some food and booze to the mix and PURE HEAVEN!)  Some day I need to have Mark do one of these for me.

If you go back to when Ravage.com (the current site) was started we had a pinup contest, the winner got to become one of Mark’s Calendar girls for his 2011 calendar!  I hope to do that again soon!

So do me a favor and click on MORE so you can read more of the article and see MANY more of his amazing pictures!

Mark has been drawing since he could hold a crayon. He grew up reading CarToons and Hot Rod magazines. In grade school his friends thought it was cool that he could draw cars so well and that encouraged him to continue. However, the first day of art class in high school when he did a watercolor painting of a hot rod the teacher Mr. Reed held it up and said “This is exactly the kind of thing I don’t want to see in my class.” So Mark quit Mr Reed’s class and took a drafting class where he spent a lot of time drawing hot rods when he was supposed to be working on architectural plans. After a hitch in the Army, Mark went to college majoring in fine art and the curves of the female form began to appear in his work more often than shapely fenders. Since then he’s worked as a paste-up artist, production artist, graphic designer, commercial illustrator and taught college level classes in graphics & web design. Mark is also a published comic book colorist.

Mark’s illustrations have appeared in a variety of magazines including RebelRodz, Bachelor Pad and National Geographic (Russia) and have been recognized with national awards. He’s even done work for NASA. His artwork has been shown in galleries on both the east and west coasts and can be found in private collections all over the world.

What would Mr Reed think if he could see Mark’s art now?
