LOGO felt-tip Printer???

OK I have always admired what others can do with Lego’s. (I couldn’t even do a Lego house that looked good.) This guy has taken Lego’s to the extreme! With some Lego’s and some home brew electronics and programming, he has created a felt-tip printer! (primative plotter / ink jet style printer)
Lego felt tip 110″ printer connected to an Apple Mac. This is not a kit you can buy and does not use mindstorms. I designed/built/coded it all from scratch including analog motor electronics, sensors and printer driver, the USB interface uses a “wiring” board

As most of you know I not fond of the IPAD (IPUD?) There is a few serious flaws.. One of which is there is NO usb port on the thing, so unless you have a network setup with a network printer you are kinda screwed if you need to print something. Well some on very smart came up with a viable solution!

11 reasons to question the new Apple iPad. (why not 10? Cause we always go to 11!)
No Multitasking
My Palm PRE can do this and very well I might add! I can surf the net, read email, play games, and listen to Pandora! But with the IPad… you got to pick 1 at a time. LAME!
No Flash
If you are supposed to surf the internet with this, WHY would they have forgotten to add Adobe Flash? It is one of the most used Medias on the internet! This was a BAD move!!!.
The Name
Women are already complain about this.. it sounds like a feminine hygiene product! Believe me the jokes are coming. While we are on the name, Fujitsu wants apple to know that they had a product on the market in 2002 with the same name. Do I hear Lawsuit?
The Bezel..it is HUGE
This thing is really HUGE! It is a lot of wasted space, I sure they gave up some of the width to make it thinner.
No Cameras
Ok this isn’t a deal breaker for me… I mean they put cameras on every phone now; I am just not sure why they couldn’t have done it here. Hell a Nintendo DS has 2!
Touch Keyboard
We knew it would have this, but it is going to SUCK trying to type and hold it at the same time. We have learned how to text on tiny keyboards I am sure would will figure out how to use this too.
No HDMI Out
I am not sure what to think on this one. Do I even want to plug this into a TV? I guess it would have been a nice option. (IPad V2 – more money!)
USB Adapter??
I am not 100% sure on this but the way it seems is you are going to need an USB adapter to be able to use USB? I can’t totally believe this one.
You think it would be a widescreen.. but it isn’t!
According to the specs the screen is a 4:3 aspect ratio, not the 16×9 we have come custom to. This is like a BIG step backwards
A Closed App Ecosystem
The iPad only runs apps from the App Store. The same App Store that is notorious for banning apps for no real reason, such as Google Voice. Sure, netbooks might not have touchscreens, but you can install whatever software you’d like on them. Want to run a different browser on your iPad? Too bad!
Breakablity?
Seeing that no one has one yet this is just speculation. BUT I have heard of many people that drop an iPhone or iTouch from a short distance only to have the device rendered completely useless. Can you imagine what would happen with this thing?
Well there it is in all its glory, The NEW Apple IPad. Listening to the Apple hype the world is going to stop spinning because of this baby. Ok I could list all the spec info here but why? They have a website. http://www.apple.com/iPad/specs/ go take a look. (After you are done here of course!)
