I’m not a pinup, which is part of why I’m entering this contest. I’m an Austin-based burlesque performer who has always avoided pin-up shoots like the plague. I’ve hated being photographed my whole life. But recently I did a series of shoots with a few friends who are learning photography and was shocked to discover that it was tons of fun! And it was even more fun to see the results! So now I’d like to embrace pin-up shoots and make up for lost time. I’m hoping this contest will help me with that.

And my favorite pizza topping is green peppers and black olives.
