Back? Doing my best!

I know, I know. I’m an awful journalist! Not that I don’t have anything good to say, but seriously, I haven’t updated here in like 3 months. There’s a TON to talk about, and I want to get it down regular, but I am a busy man. Freshly single (but friends still), I’ve found myself with more time, but at the same time, a considerable amount less.
As you know, I’m running my own Video Game store which requires me to be there a million hours a week doing stuff, and when I’m NOT, I’m at home, streaming my show from the Datazone channel. Yeah, I know, it’s AMAZING, but it shouldn’t be an excuse to not be rocking Ravage daily. So, I will be doing my absolute best to work on keeping these updates regular, but if I can’t, please forgive me. It just gets worse as we get closer to the holiday season.
I have been playing a ton of games, however (well, kinda), and want to do reviews on all the stuff I’ve gone through since I stopped writing. That will include God of War 3, No More Heroes 2, Metroid: Other M, and many others. I’m wrapping up some impressions on Sonic 4 for the iPhone as well, and will do some comparisons between that and the console release.
So, again, thanks for your support and patience, and don’t forget to also visit Datazone, usually beginning at 9:30-10 PM MST.

I am a VERY firm believer that as human beings we have much more capabilities that we could use. I believe we can use our brains more than we do, physically we can do more, and as you are about to see, we can have it with in us to change energy… not like what comes out of a plug in your house… but something called CHI. Think about all of the unique stories we have heard of where someone survived a fall that should have killed them. Or a mother lifting up a car to save a child. This week alone, a university football player was hit head on by a truck while riding a scooter. Scooter destroyed. He basically bounced off and flipped through the air, landing on the ground, with nothing more than a scratch.
Watch this with an open mind, and don’t try to find fault in him, but just think about the possibilities. PLEASE post your thoughts about this!

This is the most over due article I have been meaning to do! So first off.. Sorry this one too me so long Mark! Secondly I had this great idea of how I wanted to display Mark’s Artwork, but for some reason it wouldn’t work correctly on here. (some day when I get time I will fix it!)
Mark is truely an amazing artist, as you can see. He works with some of the most beautiful pinups around. Not only does he draw these amazing women, but he draws the most baddass cars!! Cars and Girls.. the perfect combo! (add some food and booze to the mix and PURE HEAVEN!) Some day I need to have Mark do one of these for me.
If you go back to when Ravage.com (the current site) was started we had a pinup contest, the winner got to become one of Mark’s Calendar girls for his 2011 calendar! I hope to do that again soon!

How possible is it, really? When life provides a means to dip back into yesteryear and re-construct reality, does one choose to abuse this power? Clearly there is no problem digging out a giant grey brick to supply with AA batteries and throwing in a copy of Dr. Mario, but on principle alone, one couldn’t ask for a more amazing and roundabout way to construct the possibility of this contraption.
Fueled by our FC Go-16 portable SNES system, coupled with two game genies (from galoob), and finally inserted into a Super Gameboy, we have finally achieved ideal portable takeoff. Granted, one could just download Dr. Mario for the DSi and be all the better for it, but image is everything, if high fructose drink commercials have taught us anything, and form over function clearly dominates. Ask any PSP owner (including me).
What will the devil dream up next? Only through progressively retro technology will we find out!
