OK so a modder (loveablechevy) created her own handheld system that plays BOTH nes and snes games! It looks freaking sweet! Much props got to her for spending 2 years in the development of something so cool. (I once tried my hand at modding, I tried to make a DOAT. I duct taped a dog and a cat together. Needless to say the owner wasn’t to happy, neither was the dog or the cat. I didn’t realize that so much hair would come off if you untaped them!) TRON LEGACY TRAILER #2!

Released at Comic-Con this week (you didn’t think I wasnt going to put some stuff up from the con did you?)
I am a super geek on this movie, I bet I have watched Tron about 100 times or more. It is one of the movies that made me want to be a 3D animator.
A few things to check out in this trailer.
- Young Jeff Bridges and Old Jeff Bridges.
- Yes that is OLIVIA WILDE… (OMG is she hot)
- Lightcycles are cool… but what about a Light JET???

This is a new re-imaging of Rainbow Brite by the incredible Tess Fowler! This was completed today! I am glad to say she is a new friend of ours here at ravage.com and we hope to be showing more of her work as she creates it! I dig the fact that they’re all dirty. Reminds me of my own Rainbow Brite collection that got dragged through hell and back, and still had that bizarre sickeningly sweet plastic smell. – Tess Fowler.

OK I am not really into the world cup… (as most Americans) but here is an Adidas commercial that they did for the games. Being I am a huge Star Wars fan, this was a great re-imagining of the movie. You have to see this one. It is mostly for the Star Wars geeks but check it out anyway. OH yeah did I forget to mention… Snoop Dog is in it!

Dungeons and Dragons has gone CRAZY!

Sure they say that video games like Grand Theft Auto are messing with our kids, making them more violent but take a look at this ad from COLD STEEL trying to sell you a 2 handed great sword (+2 to dex and for only $550) and see what you can say about what Dungeons and Dragons/WoW/ and any other D&D style game and what it is doing to our society! (btw: I want one of these!)

Sorry about the absence lately. I had some thing that was going to be big news, but it didnt happen the way I thought. So I have moved on and working on the next big thing!
In the mean time check this out… PIXELS! this is an amazing 3D animation of old school 8 bit pixels attacking New York!

As a lot of my friends know, I spent many years as an 3D animator for television and music videos. While visiting one of my favorite sites IWATCHSTUFF.COM, I came across this amazing video. Is this in the Avatar range of amazing? Nope not even close, but it shows what one guy, with an idea, 90+ friends, $100, and a borrowed video camera can do. I have had to work with next to nothing to do my projects many times, so I totally respect this guy and give him props. I put this in the WTF section, not because it is bad, but because it shows how good something can be with so little.
Side note: When my daughter was little we watched this movie over and over, so it has a special place in my heart. YEAH I can be MUSHY!! YEAH I can show my feelings! (sniff) Enjoy.
